Firmus Cap (BBCR) Pte Ltd, Lequest Mall located in the young and vibrant Bukit Batok West estate in Singapore, a mixed-use residential and commercial development. 

>Responsive Design and User Experience

One of the primary goals of this project is to provide a seamless user experience across various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile). We need to focus on how can we implement responsive designs and optimized user experiences to cater to different screen sizes and user preferences.

>Social Media Integration

Social media is a powerful tool for engaging with the mall's audience. We have to integrate social media platforms on their websites, encouraging user-generated content and building a vibrant online community.

>Navigation and Information Architecture

An effective shopping mall website requires well-structured navigation and information architecture. We need to explore how can we organized their websites to showcase store directories, events, promotions, and other essential information in a user-friendly and intuitive way.

>Performance Optimization

Website speed and performance are critical for retaining users and improving search engine rankings. We have to optimize their website performance, reducing load times and enhancing overall user satisfaction.

Challenges -

Unclear Client Direction and Frequent Layout Changes

The client may have had difficulty communicating their exact vision for the website, resulting in unclear requirements and constant changes to the layout and design.​

Client's Limited Website Knowledge

The client's lack of familiarity with website development and technologies could have led to them relying heavily on the project team for guidance and decision-making. Educating the client about technical aspects and explaining the implications of certain choices would have been essential.

Slow Client Feedback

With delayed feedback, crucial milestones and decision points were prolonged, causing potential delays in the overall project timeline. The team had to wait for client responses before proceeding with crucial tasks.

Outcome

The Le Quest Mall website project aimed to create a user-friendly platform that provided essential information about the mall's stores, events, promotions, and amenities. The website featured interactive mall maps, optimized for various devices, and integrated up-to-date store listings and event updates. It effectively promoted ongoing sales, special offers, and loyalty programs, ensuring a positive user experience and engagement. With a focus on speed, security, and accessibility, the project aimed to deliver a well-designed website completed within the agreed-upon time constraints, serving as a digital hub for the Le Quest Mall community.
